Jaw pain also know as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder happens when there is a mismatch between the upper and lower teeth, joints and facial muscles responsible for jaw movement.

Early intervention and prevention of temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) are necessary to avoid chronic pain and permanent disability.
